Napoleon develops new corporate Mission, Vision and Values, celebrates 40 year corporate anniversary.

2015

The industry’s first eFire app was developed for fireplaces. Napoleon begins manufacturing central air conditioners.

2013

Napoleon continues to grow, building a 270,000 sq. ft. Logistics Centre.

2011

Napoleon ventured into the HVAC market, developing the only high efficiency gas furnaces Made in Canada. The Hybrid wood burning furnaces were introduced, with optional gas, oil and electric add-ons.

2010

Wolf Steel USA expanded their production and warehouse space. Napoleon’s grill division added European offices and logistics centres.

2009

A factory in China was built, 100% owned and operated by Napoleon.

2008

The name Timberwolf was resurrected for a new line of wood burning stoves.

2003

High-end gas grills and outdoor products were introduced. The Manhattan was unveiled, the world’s first combination electric/gas fireplace. Napoleon added phase 3 of 3 of its warehouse.

2002

Offices and a warehouse complex were opened in Montreal, Quebec.

2001

Napoleon opened a new production and distribution centre in Crittenden, Kentucky. Prestige II series grills were successfully introduced.

2000

The 1st of 3 phases of Napoleon’s corporate expansion was built.

1998

The Continental brand of fireplaces was developed.

1996

A Wolf Steel USA Distribution Centre was founded. The industry’s first convenient hinged door for direct
vent gas fireplaces was introduced.

1995

Napoleon Appliance Corporation was born to manufacture gas grills. The President’s Lifetime Warranty was established and ISO quality designation was obtained.

1994

Porcelain technologies, an enameling company, was established in Mississauga, Ontario.

1989

Napoleon introduces gas fireplaces and wood burning EPA stoves, increasing the company’s competitive edge in the marketplace.

1989

Wood burning zero clearance masonry fireplaces and custom Dynasty glass doors were addedto the product line.

1983

Napoleon expanded from Ontario into Quebec and Western Canada.

1981

The Napoleon name was born. The industry’s first single cast iron door with a Pyroceram high temperature ceramic glass and air wash system were created.

1979

Wolf Steel Ltd. was born. The first two Timberwolf wood burning stoves were made.

1976

Ingrid and Wolfgang started a steel/railing fabrication business in their two-car garage.
